Safety operating procedures for CNC lathes and turning machining centers

CNC lathes and turning machining centers are mainly used to process rotary parts. Their safe operating procedures are as follows:

1. Before working, you must wear the prescribed labor protection supplies and it is strictly forbidden to drink alcohol; during work, you must concentrate, operate carefully, and strictly abide by safe operating procedures.

2. Before starting the machine tool, read the instruction manual of the machine tool in detail. Do not operate the machine tool randomly before you are familiar with the operation of the machine tool. For your safety, please read the machine tool manual carefully before starting the machine tool, and pay attention to the following matters:

(1) Shift handover record

The operator should first read the shift record before working every day, then check whether there are any abnormalities, observe whether the oil in the automatic lubricating oil tank of the machine tool is sufficient, and then manually add oil several times.

(2) Power supply:

1) When turning on the power supply, you should first turn on the main power supply of the machine tool, and then turn on the CNC power supply; but when cutting off the power supply, operate in the reverse order.

2) If there is a power failure, the main power supply should be cut off immediately.

3) Before powering on or pressing buttons, pay attention to see if anyone is repairing the machine tool or electrical equipment around the machine tool to prevent accidental injury to others.

4) After the work is completed, the main power supply should be cut off.

(3) Inspection

1) Before putting the machine tool into operation, check whether all control functions are normal according to the operating steps described in the operating instructions. If there are any problems, eliminate them before starting work.

2) Check whether the pressure values indicated by all pressure gauges are normal.

(3) Emergency stop

If you encounter an emergency, you should press the stop button immediately.

3. General safety operating procedures for CNC lathes and turning machining centers

(1) Before operating the machine tool, be sure to wear labor protection supplies and do not wear gloves to operate the machine tool.

(2) Before operation, you must be familiar with the function of each button and the operating precautions.

(3) When using the machine tool, you should pay attention to the warnings on the warning signs on various parts of the machine tool.

(4) Tools around the machine tool should be placed neatly and easily accessible.

(5) The protective door of the machine tool must be closed before processing.

(6) After the tool is clamped, trial cutting should be performed manually.

(7) During the operation of the machine tool, do not remove chips and avoid touching the moving parts of the machine tool with your hands.

(8) When removing chips, use certain tools and be careful not to cut your hands or feet by the chips.

(9) When measuring the workpiece, it must be done with the machine tool stopped.

(10) After the work is completed, attention should be paid to keeping the machine tool and control equipment clean, and the machine tool should be maintained in a timely manner.

4. Special precautions during operation:

(1) When the machine tool is powered on, the operator must not open or touch the parts of the machine tool that display the lightning symbol and are equipped with strong current devices to prevent injury from electric shock.

(2) When maintaining electrical devices, the power supply must be cut off first.

(3) During the operation of the machine tool spindle, the protective door of the machine tool must be closed. When closing the door, be sure to pay attention to the safety of your hands to avoid injury.

(4) Do not turn on the machine tool during thunder. Because the instantaneous high voltage and large current during a lightning strike can easily impact the machine tool, causing the module to be burned out or the changed data to be lost, causing unnecessary losses. Therefore, the following points should be done:

1) Do not open the machine tool during thunder;

2) A lightning protection net should be erected on the roof of the CNC workshop;

3) Each CNC machine tool should be well grounded and ensure that the grounding resistance is less than 4Ω.

(5) Playing, chatting, sleeping and leaving the post at will are prohibited. At the same time, attention should be paid to concentration and alcoholism and fatigue operation should be eliminated.

5. To achieve civilized production, after the processing operation is completed, the work site must be cleaned, the machine tool must be wiped clean, and the system power supply must be cut off before leaving.
