MACHNEAPPLICATIONS

This  machine  is  a  CNC  gear  shaper,  on  which  the  radial feed   motions  are   performed   by  the column   movements.   It’s   mainly used  for  cutting  cylindrical  gears,   non-circular  spur  gears  and   plate  cams.  When  cutters  of  special  shapes  are  equipped,  the  machine  can  cut  couplings  of  various  shapes  and  involute  splines.

Its  machining  accuracy  is  high  and can   reach   Grade   6   of  the   GB   Standard   (GB/T10095.1-2008)  for  the   cylindrical   gears.

The  machine  is  designed  for  jobbing  production  and  mass  production  in  the  automobile,  speed  reducer,  military  and  instru-

ment   industries,   and   suitable   to   form a   production   line.

PERFORMANCE   AND   FEATURES   OF   THE   MACHINE

  1. Themachine   is   longitudinally  arranged  and  the   radial  feed   motions  are   performed   by  the  column   movements.   It  consists

of   mainly  the   machine  frame,  the   bed,  the   column,  the  worktable,  the   cutter   head   and  the   drive   box.

  1. Asliding  guide  is  used  for  the column  movements   and   the   radial   feed  motions  are  driven  by  means  of  a  high  precision ball  screw.  A  speed  reducer  of  a  well-known  Taiwan  brand  is  adopted and  both  the  positioning  accuracy  and repeatabil-     ity   are   high.
  2. Thisis   a   4-CNC-axis   machine   with   3-axis   simultaneous   movements.   A   CNC   control   system   controls   simultaneously, through   AC   servo   motors,   the cutter   spindle   rotations   (X),   the   work   spindle   rotations(Y)   and   the   radial   feed   of   the column(Z).
  3. Thereciprocating   movements   of   the   cutter   spindle   are   driven   by   means   of   a   converter   for   its   stepless   speed   regula- tions.   The   cutter   spindle   has   an   up-stop   function.
